Current SPEC Benchmark Suites: Academic/Non profit prices or Free Downloads
SPEC wants to make access to benchmarks affordable for use in academic papers and research therefore we are offering free or greatly reduced pricing on its benchmarks and tools. We provide special non-profit/educational discounts for organizations with 501C or equivalent standings on selected SPEC benchmark suites. Staff may request proof of qualification. All academic orders are licensed to a professor or full-time staff member.
SPEC benchmarks are licensed to companies, universities, and organizations around the world; to find out if your organization is a member of SPEC's consortium, please see our current membership. ** Licensing Information:
- Multiple licenses for corporations are not necessary, however separate licenses are required for non-profits with multiple locations. To find out if your organization holds a current license for a specific SPEC benchmark suite before purchasing it, please contact SPEC headquarters.
- A non-commercial license is available for the SPEC GWPG and SPEC HPG benchmarks free of charge for use by individuals and organizations that are not required to have a commercial license. A commercial license is required for any commercial enterprise that is not a SPEC GWPG member (for the SPECapc® benchmarks, the SPECviewperf® benchmark, or the SPECworkstation® benchmark) or a SPEC HPG member (for the SPEC ACCEL® benchmark, SPEC MPI® benchmark, and SPEC OMP® benchmark) and is engaged in marketing, developing, testing, consulting for and/or selling computers, computer services, graphics devices, drivers or other systems or components in the computer marketplace.

MD5 Checksums:
To verify the file integrity of your downloaded software, we offer MD5 checksums and file sizes for the
download files.
Payment Options:
Digital River's MyCommerce is SPEC's authorized reseller and merchant for ecommerce and software delivery services. They accept most major credit cards, Paypal and checks (pre-payment). Purchase Orders (PO) are not accepted. If you need to issue a PO, please contact SPEC headquarters. SPEC can also provide wire transfer details.
Tax Information
Tax is charged in regions where Digital River's MyCommerce, SPEC's authorized reseller is required to collect it. Organizations that are tax exempt need to place the order, then request a refund. To request a refund of tax paid, email Digital River at [email protected], include order number with the exemption certificates; credits are issued in five business days.
Refunds:
If you are dissatisfied with the product the original software purchase price can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. To request a refund, please contact SPEC at [email protected].
SPECapc® Benchmark Requirements:
The SPECapc benchmarks provide only the performance testing software. They do
not include the actual applications, which are the intellectual property of their
respective software vendors (e.g. SPECapc® for Maya 2023 does not include a copy
of Maya 2023 software). Specific software version requirements can be found in the
benchmark run rules.
Embedded Benchmark Requirements:
The ULPMark®, IoTMark®-BLE, IotMark®-Wi-Fi, and SecureMark®-TLS benchmarks require the purchase of additional hardware from third party distributors.
