Would be a C-Series, I think Silverado was only a trim back then.

Ehh... Thats a bit confusing. I think the C-10, C-20, and C-30 were for 2-wheel drive models, while K-10, K-20, and K-30 were for 4-wheel drive models. While GMC's version was C-15, C-25, and C-35 for 2-wheel drive models, while K-15, K-25, and K-35 were for 4-wheel drive models. I believe that Silverado, Scottsdale, and Custom Deluxe were trim levels, or maybe they were model names with C-Series and K-Series as chassis designations?

Those names were trim level packages for sure; GM even mentions they are trim level packages in period sales brochures. Later the grand names were replaced by letters, like "LS", "LT", "SL", and "SLE", for example.
