I am in the midst of designing a robot that will be able to navigate
fairly accurately inside of a room with obstacles. I have been looking
around for some decent yet cost effective sensors. The sonar sensors I
have tried give very lousy accuracy and I would like to stay away from
using bump sensors or cameras. Can anyone suggest some good sensors
that are available; and the company name and address that manufactures
them.

Any help would be much appreciated as this work is geared at my masters
thesis.

Thanks,
Sisinio.
