Hi

I'm having trouble with my Miniboard (original 2.0 version). The board
cannot be programmed, DLM.EXE reports "failed to synchronize with board".
Before everyone jumps up and says "Swap the serial lines", I have tried
this (to no avail).

The symptoms are as follows (assume that the serial link is connected):
With the miniboard switched off I get a hardware echo from the miniboard
With the miniboard on, and the switch to the right, pressing the reset
button causes the motor LED's to flash (I guess that it's executing
whatever is in the EEPROM)
With the miniboard on, and the switch to the left, pressing the reset
button causes the power LED to go off (the receive LED is on), I started
a comms program and sent some characters, and the power LED goes on and
stays on with the first character sent, there is also no echo....

I've checked the orientation and values of the components, did a _very_
careful visual check of the PCB for shorts etc (I used to be a chip-level
technician, so I'm OK with a soldering iron).

Does this sound familiar...

Thanks
Scott
