Or you could try the solder pump again but put the soldering iron on
the pin on the component side of the board and the pump nozzle so that
it surrounds the pin on the solder side - once you've emptied all the holes
waggle the pins around with a pair of pliers (grip 5 or so at once) to
free them and it oughta come free. Use a fine tipped iron and poke it at
the point where the pin enters the board so you hit the solder in the hole. 

And yes I *did* take 3 74LS00's off a board two days ago doing that and
they all work just fine :)
