I recently purchased the Logitech Fotoman CCD camera. It works well
and the price was right. Unfortunately the only software available
is PC-based or Mac-based. I would prefer a Unix-based general program
w/o the fancy UI.

Logitech has a developer's kit for $34 + $5 S/H. But it doesn't include
a unix program, only notes on how to develop a program (probably DOS based).

Does anyone know if a program is already available? Any pointers to archives
etc. would be appreciated. (BTW, I haven't been able to access wuarchive
for a coupla days and it has grown so huge that I can't find much anymore)

thanks in advance,

-chris

p.s. for those who want higher res, the Fotoman plus ups the resolution to
496 x 360. But the DRAM required makes it much more expensive.
