Does anybody know if there is a such thing as a robot that you can play
catch with? I've heard of ones that can throw (not hard) but what about
catching? I'm looking for a good idea for thesis work but since I'm only
a beginner in robotics (I'd like to get my Master's and possibly PhD in
robotics) I'm not sure exactly what level of research things would
require, like a catching robot. I'm really interested in space
applications of robotics but I don't know exactly what area I could work
on. I have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering so I wouldn't want to
spend too much of the research dealing with purely electrical area
stuff. Any suggestions?
