I know a robotic prosthetics engineer, and this stuff is already in the
works, if we don't figure out how to regrow first! That may be as likely,
believe it or not! For those interested, San Francisco State University has
a program for graduates in prosthetics and robotics which are
myoelectrically controlled. And they are working on implant nerve location
and control.
