When I was in the Navy, and Later on a trans-atlantic flight, I saw
lifejackets equipped with batteries activated by saltwater ... these
were used to power the beacon lights on the lifejacket. So, I have
little doubt that one could design a battery that gives enough
"juice" to power a project from interactions with salt water.
