Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is relevant to this group or not, but I was wondering
if anybody would know about IR systems.

What I want to do is make a system for a miniboard to recieve IR signals
from say a TV remote unit. Then record these signals, and be able to play
them back at a later time...

Does anybody out there have any idea how I would do this.
I need to know:
	1. How to get the signal into the miniboard...
	2. How to record all valid info from the signal
	3. How to play back the signal.

The idea is that I will eventually hookup a tone decoder to it, and have it
as a system, so that I can dial in to my TV/VCR/whatever, and start the
device up over the phone...

What do you think, and can you help? Please respond by email
(warren@unilinc.edu.au).

Thanks folks.
