I just got a 68HC11 SBC from New Micros Inc. This thing came
with internal Forth and also a pretty good C compiler and
assembler for $99. However, 68HC11s are new to me and I don't
know how to determine whether a digital I/O point ( from one of
the parallel ports ) is an input or an output. Are some designated
as outputs and some as inputs or are they configurable in software?
The documentation with the board give no info on this except where
the ports are mapped in memory. Any help from a 68HC11 expert would
be appreciated. Thanks!
