Depends on what you mean by very cheap.  They do have the PCD8584, which
interfaces easily to most processors.  According to the 1/11/93 Philips OEM
price book, the PCD8584PN and PCD8584TD cost $5.06 (Q1-99), $4.72 (Q100-499),
and $3.73 (Q500 up).  In large volumes they should be even cheaper.
