Well, give me a week and I can answer my own question. I found some heat
sinks in the Mouse catalog (800-346-6873) number 567-7-192-BA that,
although they are listed under the TO-220 heading, will fit the Multiwatt
package. In fact they look as if they were designed to fit the Multiwatt
package.

My question about the L298 Dual H-Bridges still stands, however. Is this
the best device now for driving stepper motors?
