Hi,

In the May issue #34 of "Circuit Cellar Ink, The Computer Application Journal"
there was a special section in "ConnecTime" (quotes of conversations in the
BBS of the magazine) concerning robots.

Robert Nansel reported of a company in Connecticut named TSR. They build a
machine they call "HelpMate" for hospital meal delivery. Robert Nansel and
Jake Mendelssohn have visited a presentation in the Danbury plant of TSR.

This robot is equipped with ultra-sonic and IR obstacle detectors, a IR
camera, structured light projectors, and relies heavily on an internal CAD
model of the floor plan to navigate autonomously through the hospital.

Computing equipment is a '386-Motherboard for vision processing of the IR
camera, a couple of 68HC11 satellite controllers for various submodules,
and a 68k for coordinating the satellites.
.
We are working on autonomous robots and are very much interested in this
vehicle.

My question is:

Does anybody know TSR and their products, who could give us more
information about this robot and related products? Even the address of the
company would be helpful.

Thanks a lot

gm
