MANAGING OBJECTS ACROSS THE ENTERPRISE
...Can be easy

Learn how at this FREE GemStone Technical Seminar:
Application Partitioning with Object Technology

WE'LL SHOW YOU:

How to partition your object applications so that every part of
your client/server system gives you top performance on the operations
that it does best.

YOU'LL LEARN HOW AN OBJECT APPLICATION SERVER CAN:

* Leverage Inter/Intranet applications in VisualWave and Java.

*Offload compute-intensive operations from your client applications,
letting the client provide the best performance and responsiveness to
the individual user.

*Minimize network traffic by executing operations on large collections
and sending only the results to clients.

*Centralize business objects, allowing multiple applications to share
common objects or application frameworks, letting developers maintain
classes in one place, and providing immediate, concurrent updates for
all applications.

*Enable users to share business objects in real time through
state-of-the-art concurrency control, security, and transaction
control mechanisms.

*Increase system performance by optimizing access to legacy and
relational databases at the server level.

...AND HOW TO GET:

* Existing applications to deploy over the Inter/Intranet

*Faster, more cost-effective development and maintenance

*Accurate, real-time business modeling

*Availability of accurate business information to thousands of users,
enterprisewide, with excellent system performance

*Integration of legacy and relational data storage into your object
oriented client/server system without sacrificing performance or
maintainability

AND A CHANCE TO WIN A FREE GEMSTONE DEVELOPMENT LICENSE AND TRAINING:

At the seminar, we will be giving away one free development license
for the GemStone 5.0 object application server plus an enrollment in
the
3-day "Introduction to GemStone" developers course. All attendees
will receive our latest white papers and other technical materials.
Youll learn more about how to partition your business applications
for top performance, integrate your existing databases into your
enterprise network, and keep business information available quickly
and reliably to thousands of concurrent users.
