SMOOTHMODE ON

David,

I just wanted to let you know that, in general, you and others who post
information and advice are greatly appreciated. As you know, when you try
to do the right thing, there are those who will resent and detest you.

For me, when I see a diatribe such as the one directed at you, especially
a strange, rambling one that doesn't make much sense, I just blow it off
and figure that it means that the original poster must have said something
sensible and that someone on the borderline is trying to portray righteous
indignation or do a character assassination to discredit the person.

Looking forward to your continued involvement in the Newsgroup,
