I'm looking for a Scheme that will work on one of the HP Palmtops,
which is basically a PC but running something measurably less than a
386. This fact alone knocks out MIT Scheme and Gambit.

I tried PCS-Scheme from the Scheme repository, and it looks like it
SHOULD work, but when I tried in on my PC (Win95 Pentium in DOS mode),
I had problems. I couldn't get the editor to work. The palmtop is
owned by a friend, and I was hoping to do any necesary configuration
before I gave it to him.

I also saw s88, but their was minimal documentation on it beyond a
small readme. Although, s88's small size certainly looks promising.

I like PCS-Scheme because it looks like there are some nice extensions
that would make it a fun platform to work with.

The overall goal is to provide my friend with "Little" and "Seasoned
Schemer", and a environment to support him. Clearly a simple
implementation will do the job, but it would be nice to use something
besides EDIT for an editor.

Anyway, any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
