Well, using QEMM I did manage to maintain memory at about 1,8 MB out of 16,
which is already pretty a lot. But Scheme did not perform better. It has bugs,
serious ones. No problem launching from Windoze. 379K free without any special
stuff from a 4DOS shell...up to 1800K free with the same normal config with a
direct call (I mean all different stuff like CD and Co installed, HIMEM,
EMM386). I know that Scheme uses EMS or XMS, EMS management is buggy. XMS works
OK, nothing special to do. If you want my config mail me.

Else I've seen more dramatic things. Suddenly memory falling down to 23K with
16MB!!! Reboot, restart...again...on the same computer same boot rom file used
on the other desk, no prob. Very strange...depends a lot of your machine! Note
that DX4100 are often not stable systems which can be easilly checked with
Heretic (if it crashes, bring you PC to your reseller). Same things happenned
with some ASTs and DELLs. The brand has nothing to do in the story, but Scheme
won't just run! Then two days later everything's ok!!!!

Dankrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
