I'm replying to the newsgroup as well, since this question comes up
rather frequently.  I can't give any personal recommendations since
I don't use any of these implementations.

The Scheme FAQ lists the following Windows implementations:
MIT Scheme
Scheme->C
WinScm
EdScheme
3DScheme
Ibuki PC Scheme

The last three are commercial implementations.

There are several more which run under DOS; maybe you'd like one of
these more than the one you're working with:

PC Scheme
SCM

Have a look at the part 2 of the Scheme FAQ for specific info on
how to get these:

Sorry, I can't help you with an editor.  You can probably use whatever
editor/word processor you prefer, so long as you save in plain text.
