I was speaking in general and not in reply to the specific discussion
that's come up on comp.lang.scheme about the standard (non)conformance
of the GNU extension language.

I intend to post some (hopefully good) answers to the concerns raised
by Matthias Blume and Paul Wilson, but since i need to leave for VHLL
in 10 hours, I don't have the time to do a proper job of it right now.

But i at least wanted to make clear i wasn't brushing off those
particular posts.
