I just built STk under Linux 1.0 last night -- way cool. Today I'm
building it on Solars 2.3. The configure script in the STklos
directory tries to do a "cp Makefile.sun Makefile" but there is no
"Makefile.sun" in that directory.

For now, I linked Makefile.sun to Makefile.empty so that it's linked
statically rather than being dynamically loaded.

Is there a Makefile.sun somewhere that I haven't looked?

Also, when doing a make (using the Makefile.sun in ./Extensions
according to the congure script) I get the following error:

Make Extensions
gcc -c -fpic -O -DUSE_TK -I../Tk -I../Tcl -I../Src -I/usr/openwin/include -o hash.o hash.c
ld -assert pure-text -o hash.so hash.o
ld: fatal: option -dy and -a are incompatible
ld: fatal: Flags processing errors
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `hash.so'
Current working directory /proj/src/STk-2.1/Extensions
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `ext'

I'll try doing a make with the extensions also statically linked, but
if anybody has any hints on making the dynamic stuff work, I'd
appreciate the help!

Thanks,
