Sorry - I've enthusiastically plugged this paper so many times that
I thought people might be getting tired of hearing about it - thus
the truncated reference I meekly tried to slip past you! :-)

(*) "Lisp: Good News, Bad News, How to Win Big" by Richard P. Gabriel
<http://www.cs.cmu.edu:8001/afs/cs.cmu.edu/project/ai-repository/ai/lang/
                lisp/txt/gabriel/0.html>

( Also, temporarily in ftp://ftp.virginia.edu/public_access/sdm7g/ )

BTW: while searching for the reference, I also bumped into this
from Michael Gertz <emgertz@pluto.scripps.edu> in comp.lang.dylan.

Does anyone know of an on-line copy of the other two papers, or do
I have to hike over to the library with xerox card in hand ?
