A partial wave analysis of the K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/ pi /sup -/ system produced in the charge exchange reaction K/sup -/p to (K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/ pi /sup -/)n at 4.2 GeV/c has been performed both as a function of K pi pi mass and of t'. The 1/sup +/S wave forms the largest contribution to the K pi pi system and peaks at roughly the same mass as the Q in diffractive K pi pi production. [...]

A spin-parity 1/sup +/ rho pi enhancement is observed for the 3 pi mass spectrum in the reaction K/sup -/p to Sigma /sup -/ pi /sup +/ pi /sup +/ pi /sup -/ where events with a small (K/sup -/ to Sigma /sup - /) momentum transfer are selected. The mass (1040 MeV) and width (230 MeV) of this enhancement are reminiscent of the A/sub 1/ to rho pi bump which has mainly been observed in the diffractive-like processes. [...]

A (K pi pi )/sup +/ mass enhancement is observed in the reactions K /sup -/p to Xi /sup -/K/sup 0+//sub pi //sup +/ pi /sup 0-/ when events with a small (K/sup -/ to Xi /sup -/) four momentum transfer squared are selected. K pi scattering is studied in 77300 bubble chamber events of K/sup +/p to K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ pi /sup +/p and 18800 events of K/sup +/p to K /sup 0/ pi /sup 0/ pi /sup +/p for beam momenta between 2.5 and 12.7 GeV/c. The onshell moments of the angular distribution and the cross sections for K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ to K/sup +/ pi /sup -/, K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ to K/sup 0/ pi /sup 0/ and K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/ to K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/ are obtained by extrapolation to the pion pole. A remark concerning 20 plet dominance in charm decays / Bigi, Ikaros I (CERN)
Based on V spin consideration, it is argued that 20 plet dominance in the effective weak Lagrangian does not strongly reduce the inclusive decay rate of D/sup +/ mesons. Decays of the type D to K rho , K* pi , rho pi are discussed in pointing out that 20 dominance should lead to a large enhancement of D/sup +/ to K/sup 0/ rho /sup +/, (K/sup 0/)* pi /sup +/ over D/sup +/ to K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/; W exchange, on the other hand, leads to a sizeable suppression of D/sup 0/ to K/sup -/ rho /sup +/, (K/sup -/)* pi /sup +/ relative to D/sup 0/ to K/sup -/ pi /sup +/.
