Implementation of the ATLAS-SUSY-2018-31 analysis in the MadAnalysis 5 framework (sbottoms with multi-bottoms and missing transverse energy; 139 fb$^{−1}$)
/ Araz, Jack Y (Durham U., IPPP) ; Fuks, Benjamin (Paris, LPTHE ; Inst. U. de France)
We present the implementation, in the MadAnalysis 5 framework, of the ATLAS-SUSY-2018-31 search for new physics, and document the validation of this implementation. This analysis targets, with 139 fb−1 of proton–proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector between 2015 and 2018, the production of a pair of supersymmetric bottom squarks when they further decay through a cascade decay involving the second lightest neutralino and a Standard Model Higgs boson. Toward a public analysis database for LHC new physics searches using MADANALYSIS 5
/ Dumont, B. (LPSC, Grenoble) ; Fuks, B. (CERN ; Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Kraml, S. (LPSC, Grenoble) ; Bein, S. (Florida State U.) ; Chalons, G. (LPSC, Grenoble) ; Conte, E. (Haute Alsace U.) ; Kulkarni, S. (LPSC, Grenoble) ; Sengupta, D. (LPSC, Grenoble) ; Wymant, C. (Annecy, LAPTH)
We present the implementation, in the MadAnalysis 5 framework, of several ATLAS and CMS searches for supersymmetry in data recorded during the first run of the LHC. We provide extensive details on the validation of our implementations and propose to create a public analysis database within this framework..

Implementation of the ATLAS-SUSY-2018-32 analysis (sleptons and electroweakinos with two leptons and missing transverse energy; 139 fb$^{−1}$)
/ Araz, Jack Y (Durham U., IPPP) ; Fuks, Benjamin (Paris, LPTHE ; Inst. U. de France)
We present the implementation in MadAnalysis 5 of the ATLAS-SUSY-2018-32 search for new physics and document the validation of this re-implementation. This analysis targets, with 139 fb−1 of proton–proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector, the electroweak pair production of supersymmetric charginos and sleptons when they further decay into a final state comprising a pair of leptons and missing energy. / Fuks, Benjamin (ed.)
We document the activities performed during the second MadAnalysis 5 workshop on LHC recasting, that was organised in KIAS (Seoul, Korea) on February 12-20, 2020. We detail the implementation of 12 new ATLAS and CMS searches in the MadAnalysis 5 Public Analysis Database, and the associated validation procedures. [...]

We report on the status of efforts to improve the reinterpretation of searches and measurements at the LHC in terms of models for new physics, in the context of the LHC Reinterpretation Forum. We detail current experimental offerings in direct searches for new particles, measurements, technical implementations and Open Data, and provide a set of recommendations for further improving the presentation of LHC results in order to better enable reinterpretation in the future. Implementation of the CMS-EXO-19-002 search in the MadAnalysis 5 framework (physics beyond the Standard Model with multilepton final states; 137 fb$^{−1}$)
/ Conte, Eric (Strasbourg, IPHC ; Haute Alsace U.) ; Ducrocq, Robin (Strasbourg, IPHC)
In this paper, we present the MadAnalysis 5 implementation of the CMS-EXO-19-002 analysis, probing an excess of events featuring multiple charged leptons in LHC proton–proton collisions at s = 13TeV. The original analysis is based on data acquired by the CMS detector during the 2016–2018 campaign, which corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb−1. [...]
