A proposal for a supporting structure for the Hybrid Pixel Detectors of RICH2
/ Cuneo, S (INFN, Genoa ) ; Ameri, M (INFN, Genoa ) ; Gracco, Valerio (INFN, Genoa ) ; Musico, P (INFN, Genoa ) ; Petrolini, A (INFN, Genoa ) ; Sannino, M (INFN, Genoa )
This document is a proposal for the supporting structure of the Hybrid Pixel Detectors (HPD) that the Collaboration Board has accepted as a baseline solution for the RICH detectors. Layout, structural, thermal, electronic, magnetic and optical considerations have been taken into account in order to produce a design that could satisfy all the requirements. [...]

LHCb RICH 2 engineering design review report
/ Adinolfi, M (U. Oxford (main) ) ; Albrecht, E (CERN) ; Allebone, L R (Imperial Coll., London ) ; Ameri, M (Genoa U. ; INFN, Genoa) ; Barber, G J (Imperial Coll., London ) ; Barczyk, A (Edinburgh U. ) ; Bellunato, T F (Milan U. ; INFN, Milan ; CERN) ; Benayoun, M (CERN) ; Bibby, J (U. Oxford (main) ) ; Braem, André (CERN) et al.
The LHCb detector is a single arm spectrometer designed to exploit the large number of b-hadrons produced at the LHC in order to make precision studies of CP asymmetries and of rare decays in the B-meson system. It is therefore essential for the experiment that the detector configuration includes a particle identification system with high separation power between kaons and pions. [...]

Performance of the LHCb RICH photo-detectors and readout in a system test using charged particles from a 25 ns-structured beam
/ Adinolfi, M (Bristol U.) ; Albrecht, E (CERN) ; D’Ambrosio, C (CERN) ; Gys, T (CERN) ; Morant, J (CERN) ; Piedigrossi, D (CERN) ; Patel, M (CERN) ; Wyllie, K (CERN) ; Ameri, M (INFN, Genoa ; Genoa U.) ; Fontanelli, F (INFN, Genoa ; Genoa U.) et al.
The LHCb experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) utilises two Ring Imaging CHerenkov (RICH) detectors for particle identification. To verify that the RICH assembly will perform as expected prior to installation, an array of 48 production Hybrid Photon Detectors and their readout have been tested under realistic running conditions in a 25 ns-structured charged particle beam provided by the SPS facility at CERN.
