In this paper we present a new search technique for electroweakinos, the superpartners of electroweak gauge and Higgs bosons, based on final states with missing transverse energy, a photon, and a dilepton pair, $\ell^+\,\ell^- + \gamma + \displaystyle{\not} E_T$. Unlike traditional electroweakino searches, which perform best when $m_{\widetilde{\chi}^0_{2,3}} - m_{\widetilde{\chi}^0_1}, m_{\widetilde{\chi}^{\pm}} - m_{\widetilde{\chi}^0_1} > m_Z$, our search favors nearly degenerate spectra; degenerate electroweakinos typically have a larger branching ratio to photons, and the cut $m_{\ell\ell} \ll m_Z$ effectively removes on-shell Z boson backgrounds while retaining the signal. Near the tip of the stau coannihilation strip in the CMSSM with a neutralino LSP, the astrophysical cold dark matter density constraint forces the stau-neutralino mass difference to be small. If this mass difference is smaller than the tau mass, the stau may decay either in the outer part of an LHC detector - the `disappearing track' signature - or be sufficiently long-lived to leave the detector before decaying - the long-lived massive charged-particle signature. We combine our new results for the O(alpha_em) and O(alpha_s^2) corrections to B_{s,d} -> l^+ l^-, and present updated branching ratio predictions for these decays in the standard model. Study of beauty hadron decays into pairs of charm hadrons / LHCb collaboration
First observations of the decays $\Lambda_b^0 \to \Lambda_c^+ D_{(s)}^-$ are reported using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3\,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ collected at 7 and 8 TeV center-of-mass energy in proton-proton collisions with the LHCb detector. In addition, the most precise measurement of the branching fraction ${\mathcal{B}(B_s^0 \to D^+D_s^-)}$ is made and a search is performed for the decays $B^0_{(s)} \to \Lambda_c^+ \Lambda_c^-$. [...]

Evidence of $CP$ violation in $B^+\to p\bar{p}K^+$ decays / LHCb Collaboration
Three-body $B^+\to p \overline p K^+$ and $B^+\to p \overline p \pi^+$ decays are studied using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 $fb^{-1}$ collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of $7$ and $8$ TeV. Evidence of $CP$ violation in the $B^+\to p \overline p K^+$ decay is found in regions of the phase space, representing the first measurement of this kind for a final state containing baryons. [...]

Measurement of the $\bar{B}_s^0\to D_s^-D_s^+$ and $\bar{B}_s^0\to D^-D_s^+$ effective lifetimes / LHCb collaboration
The first measurement of the effective lifetime of the $\bar{B}_s^0$ meson in the decay $\bar{B}_s^0\to D_s^-D_s^+$ is reported using a proton-proton collision dataset, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb$^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb experiment. The measured value of the $\bar{B}_s^0\to D_s^-D_s^+$ effective lifetime is $1.379\pm0.026\pm0.017$ ps, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. [...]
