FCC-ee arc half-cell: preliminary design & integration studies, with ideas for a mock-up
/ Carra, F (CERN) ; Baudin, L (CERN) ; Bauche, J (CERN) ; Artoos, K (CERN) ; Atieh, S (CERN) ; Bertarelli, A (CERN) ; Brunner, O (CERN) ; Capatina, O (CERN) ; Chance, A (Saclay) ; Chemli, S (CERN) et al.
During 2022, a dedicated study was undertaken at CERN, together with FCC Feasibility Study collaborators, aimed at proposing a robust configuration for the FCC-ee arc half cell. The proposed configuration takes into account integration aspects of the elements in the arc cross section, both for the booster and the collider, as well as aspects related to powering, cooling and ventilation, supporting and alignment, optics, instrumentation, handling and installation. First considerations on the supporting structures of FCC-ee booster and collider in the arc regions
/ Carra, F (CERN) ; Baudin, L (CERN) ; Bauche, J (CERN) ; Artoos, K (CERN) ; Atieh, S (CERN) ; Bertarelli, A (CERN) ; Brunner, O (CERN) ; Capatina, O (CERN) ; Chance, A (Saclay) ; Chemli, S (CERN) et al.
In 2022, the FCC Feasibility Study management mandated aworking group to analyse the best configuration of the FCC-ee tunnelin the arc regions, in view of the construction of a mock-up of thearc half-cell. One of the main and most challenging goals of thestudy, named FCC-ee Arc Half-Cell Mock-up Project, was toperform a preliminary investigation on the principles of supportingthe Short-Straight Sections and dipoles of the half-cells, both forthe booster and for the collider machines. FCC-ee Feasibility Study Progress
/ Zimmermann, Frank (CERN) ; Benedikt, Michael (CERN)
The Future Circular Collider (FCC) ’’integrated programme’’ consists of a proposed high-luminosity e⁺e⁻ collider, FCC-ee, serving as Higgs and electroweak factory, which would, in a second stage, be succeeded by a 100 TeV hadron collider, FCC-hh. FCC-ee and FCC-hh share the same 91 km tunnel and technical infrastructure. [...]

Preliminary design of the FCC-ee vacuum chamber absorbers
/ Morrone, M (CERN) ; Garion, C (CERN) ; Kersevan, R (CERN) ; Rorison, S (CERN) ; Chiggiato, P (CERN)
In the FCC-ee study, it is proposed that electron and positron beams circulate at high current and high energy in a 92-km circumference ring. The present operational scenario foresees a first running step at an energy of 45.6 GeV and around 1.4 A current, which would generate copious amounts of synchrotron radiation (SR) power and flux. Impact of dipole quadrupolar errors in FCC-ee
/ García-Jaimes, C (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Pieloni, T (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; van Riesen-Haupt, L (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Seidel, M (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Tomás, R (CERN)
FCC-ee performance is challenged by magnetic errors and imperfections. Magnetic design simulations predict a systematic quadrupolar component in the arc dipoles significantly impacting the machine optics. [...]

Parameter space for the magnetic design of Nested Magnets in the FCC-ee arc cell
/ Garcia Jaimes, Cristobal Miguel (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne, LPAP) ; Thabuis, Adrien (CERN) ; Auchmann, Bernhard (PSI, SLS) ; Kosse, Jaap (PSI, SLS) ; van Riesen-Haupt, Léon (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne, LPAP) ; Koratzinos, Michael (CERN) ; Seidel, Mike (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne, LPAP) ; Tomas, Rogelio (CERN) ; Pieloni, Tatiana (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne, LPAP)
The Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee) is designed to explore the Z and W± bosons, along with the Higgs boson and top quark, achieving exceptionally high luminosity. In order to minimize the energy lost per turn due to Synchrotron Radiation (SR) we explore the use of Nested Magnets (NMs) into the arcs cell. [...]

FCC-ee large-scale project installation planning: challenges & proposals
/ Fleury, Sarah (CERN) ; Valchkova-Georgieva, Fani (Unlisted, CH) ; Burnet, Jean-Paul (CERN) ; Bernardini, Marzia (CERN) ; Benedikt, Michael (CERN)
CERN is contemplating further advancements in the energy frontier through the Future Circular Collider (FCC) study, envisioning a 90.7 km underground accelerator with multiple energy stages over time. Following the European Strategy for Particle Physics recommendation in 2020, CERN initiated a feasibility study to scrutinize all aspects of the FCC project.A crucial component of this study involves developing a timeline from project approval to the beam operation of FCC-ee, the first collider with electron and positron.
