Early performance of the tracking detector for the FASER experiment / Inada, Tomohiro (CERN) /FASER Collaboration
FASER is a new experiment aimed at searching for new light weakly-interacting long-lived particles and studying high-energy neutrino interactions in the very forward region of LHC collisions at CERN. The experimental setup is located 480 meters downstream from the ATLAS interaction point, aligned with the beam collision axis. [...]

Study of TeV Neutrinos in the Faser Experiment at the LHC / Ariga, Akitaka (Bern U., LHEP) /FASER Collaboration
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) copiously produces high-energy neutrinos at TeV-energy scale, however, none of them has ever been detected. The FASER Collaboration is going to study the high energy neutrinos from the LHC with a flavor-sensitive detector, so-called FASER$\nu$. [...]

First Long-Lived Particle Results and Commissioning of the ForwArd Search ExpeRiment / Shively-Piccardo, Savannah Rose (UC, Irvine (main)) /FASER collaboration
The ForwArd Search ExpeRiment (FASER) is collecting far-forward proton-proton collision data during the Large Hadron Collider's third running period (2022-2025). This thesis describes two of the first-proposed searches: for dark photon ($A'$) and the $B-L$ gauge boson ($A_{B-L}$). [...]

Study of high-energy neutrinos in the FASER experiment at the LHC / Ariga, Tomoko (Kyushu U., Fukuoka (main)) /FASER Collaboration
FASER is a new experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) aiming to search for light, weakly interacting new particles, complementing other experiments. The particle detector will be located 480 m downstream of the ATLAS interaction point. [...]

Commissioning of the FASER Trigger and Data Acquisition Prior to Proton-proton Collision Data-taking at the LHC / Antel, Claire /FASER Collaboration
FASER is a newly installed experiment at the LHC designed to search for long lived particles produced in high energy proton collisions and decaying several 100 meters downstream. As the experiment aims to measure a rare hypothetical process, it is crucial that the experiment’s trigger and data acquisition (TDAQ) system runs reliably and with minimal deadtime, quick to catch errors and raise alerts. [...]

ATLAS LAr Calorimeter Commissioning for LHC Run-3 / Strizenec, Pavol (Institute of Experimental Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Kosice) /ATLAS Collaboration
Liquid argon (LAr) sampling calorimeters are employed by ATLAS for all electromagnetic calorimetry in the pseudo-rapidity region |η| < 3.2, and for hadronic and forward calorimetry in the region from |η| = 1.5 to |η| = 4.9. In the first LHC run a total luminosity of 27 fb−1 has been collected at center-of-mass energies of 7-8 TeV. [...]

In-situ monitoring of the CSC gas gain at CMS / Rawal, Neha (Florida U.) /CMS Collaboration
The Cathode Strip Chambers (CSCs) are multiwire proportional chambers with cathode strip readout, and they constitute the primary muon tracking device in the endcaps of the CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The CSCs have accumulated a significant radiation dose since the beginning of LHC operations, and it is important to monitor any possible signs of aging and confirm that the detector can sustain the full integrated luminosity expected at the HL-LHC ( 3000 fb−1). [...]
