Measurement of the Se77(n,γ) cross section up to 200 keV at the n_TOF facility at CERN / n_TOF Collaboration
The Se77(n,γ) reaction is of importance for Se77 abundance during the slow neutron capture process in massive stars. We have performed a new measurement of the Se77 radiative neutron capture cross section at the Neutron Time-of-Flight facility at CERN. [...]

A segmented total energy detector (sTED) for (n, γ) cross section measurements at n_TOF EAR2 / n_TOF Collaboration
The neutron time-of-flight facility n_TOF is characterised by its high instantaneous neutron intensity, high-resolution and broad neutron energy spectra, specially conceived for neutron-induced reaction cross section measurements. Two Time-Of-Flight (TOF) experimental areas are available at the facility: experimental area 1 (EAR1), located at the end of the 185 m horizontal flight path from the spallation target, and experimental area 2 (EAR2), placed at 20 m from the target in the vertical direction. Measurement of the $^{244}Cm$ and $^{246}Cm$ neutron-induced capture cross sections at the n_TOF facility / Alcayne, V (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Kimura, A (JAERI, Tokai) ; Mendoza, E (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Cano-Ott, D (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Martínez, T (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Aberle, O (CERN) ; Andrzejewski, J (Lodz U.) ; Audouin, L (Orsay, IPN) ; Bécares, V (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Bacak, M (CERN ; IRFU, Saclay ; Vienna, Tech. U.) et al.
The neutron capture reactions of the $^{244}$Cm and $^{246}$Cm isotopes open the path for the formation of heavier Cm isotopes and heavier elements such as Bk and Cf in a nuclear reactor. In addition, both isotopes belong to the minor actinides with a large contribution to the decay heat and to the neutron emission in irradiated fuels. [...]

Neutron capture cross section measurements of $^{241}$Am at the n_TOF facility / n_TOF Collaboration
Neutron capture on $^{241}$ Am plays an important role in the nuclear energy production and also provides valuable information for the improvement of nuclear models and the statistical interpretation of the nuclear properties. A new experiment to measure the $^{241}$ Am(n,$\gamma$) cross section in the thermal region and the first few resonances below 10 eV has been carried out at EAR2 of the n_TOF facility at CERN. [...]

High-resolution cross section measurements for neutron interactions on $^{89}$Y with incident neutron energies up to 95 keV / Tagliente, G (INFN, Bari) ; Milazzo, P M (INFN, Trieste) ; Paradela, C (Geel, JRC) ; Kopecky, S (Geel, JRC) ; Vescovi, D (INFN, Perugia ; Cagliari Observ.) ; Alaerts, G (Geel, JRC) ; Damone, L A (INFN, Bari ; CERN) ; Heyse, J (Geel, JRC) ; Krtička, M (Charles U.) ; Schillebeeckx, P (Geel, JRC) et al.
The cross section of the $^{89}$Y(n, $\gamma $) reaction has important implications in nuclear astrophysics and for advanced nuclear technology. Given its neutron magic number N = 50 and a consequent small neutron capture cross section, $^{89}$Y represents one of the key nuclides for the stellar s-process. [...]

Results of the $^{244}$Cm, $^{246}$Cm and $^{248}$Cm neutron-induced capture cross sections measurements at EAR1 and EAR2 of the n_TOF facility / nTOF Collaboration
Accurate neutron capture cross section data for minor actinides (MAs) are required to estimate the production and transmutation rates of MAs in light water reactors, critical fast reactors like Gen-IV systems, and other innovative reactor systems such as accelerator driven systems (ADS). In particular, 244Cm, 246Cm and 248Cm play a role in the transport, storage and transmutation of the nuclear waste of the current nuclear reactors, due to the contribution of these isotopes to the radiotoxicity, neutron emission, and decay heat in the spent nuclear fuel.
