/ Cubiss, J G ; Andreyev, A N ; Barzakh, A E ; Manea, V ; Al Monthery, M ; Althubiti, N A ; Andel, B ; Antalic, S ; Atanasov, D ; Blaum, K et al.
A comprehensive study of the isotope 178 Au has been made at the CERN-ISOLDE facility, using resonance laser ionization. Two long-lived states in 178 Au were identified—a low-spin ground state and a high-spin isomer—each of which were produced as pure beams. [...]

/ Harding, R D (CERN ; York U., England) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAERI, Tokai) ; Barzakh, A E (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Atanasov, D (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Van Duppen, P (Leuven U.) ; Al Monthery, M (York U., England) ; Althubiti, N A (Manchester U.) ; Andel, B (Leuven U. ; Comenius U.) ; Antalic, S (Comenius U.) et al.
A study of the ground states of the laser-ionized and mass-separated odd-odd isotopes 180,182Au was performed using the Resonance Ionization Laser Ion Source, Windmill detection setup and ISOLTRAP Multi-Reflection Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer at ISOLDE, CERN. A complex fine-structure α-decay pattern of 180Au was deduced, providing insight into the low-lying levels in the daughter nucleus 176Ir. [...]

/ Harding, R D (York U., England ; CERN) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAERI, Tokai) ; Barzakh, A E (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Van Duppen, P (Leuven U.) ; Al Monthery, M (York U., England) ; Althubiti, N A (Manchester U.) ; Andel, B (Leuven U. ; Comenius U.) ; Antalic, S (Comenius U.) ; Cocolios, T E (Leuven U. ; Manchester U.) et al.
A study of the laser-ionized and mass-separated neutron-deficient isotopes 176,177,179Au was performed using the Resonance Ionization Laser Ion Source and the Windmill detection setup at ISOLDE, CERN. New and improved data on complex fine-structure α decays of the three isotopes were deduced, providing insight into the low-lying levels in the daughter nuclei 172,173,175Ir. [...]

Shape coexistence in 187Au studied by laser spectroscopy
/ Barzakh, A E (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Atanasov, D (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAERI, Tokai) ; Monthery, M Al (York U., England) ; Althubiti, N A (Manchester U. ; Al Jouf U.) ; Andel, B (Leuven U. ; Comenius U.) ; Antalic, S (Comenius U.) ; Blaum, K (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cocolios, T E ; Cubiss, J G et al.
Hyperfine-structure parameters and isotope shift of the 9/2− isomeric state in 187Au relative to 197Au for the 267.6-nm atomic transition have been measured for the first time using the in-source resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique. The magnetic dipole moment and change in the mean-square charge radius for this 9/2− isomer have been deduced. [...]

Astron.) ; Hilaire, S (CEA DAM) ; Péru, S (CEA DAM) ; Goriely, S (Brussels U., IAA) ; Al Monthery, M (York U., England) ; Althubiti, N A (Manchester U. ; Al Jouf U. ; Ain Shames U.) ; Andel, B (Comenius U.) et al.
The changes in mean-squared charge radii of neutron-deficient gold nuclei have been determined using the in-source, resonance-ionization laser spectroscopy technique, at the ISOLDE facility (CERN). From these new data, nuclear deformations are inferred, revealing a competition between deformed and spherical configurations. [...]

Hyperfine-structure constants for the 6s2S1/2 and 6p2P1/2 atomic states of the Iπ=11/2− gold isomers Aum177,191,193,195 have been measured at CERN-ISOLDE, using the in-source laser resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique. From the measured hyperfine constants the differences between hyperfine anomalies for these atomic states have been deduced. [...]
