The FCC (Future Circular Collider) study represents a vision for the next large project in high energy physics, comprising an 80-100 km tunnel that can house a future 100 TeV hadron collider. The study also includes a high luminosity e+e- collider operating in the centre-of-mass energy range of 90-350 GeV as a possible intermediate step, the FCC-ee. [...]

Impedance modelling and collective effects in the Future Circular e$^{+}$e$^{−}$ Collider with 4 IPs / Migliorati, M. (U. Rome La Sapienza (main) ; INFN, Rome) ; Antuono, C. (INFN, Rome ; U. Rome La Sapienza (main) ; CERN) ; Carideo, E. (U. Rome La Sapienza (main) ; INFN, Rome ; CERN) ; Zhang, Y. (Beijing, Inst. High Energy Phys.) ; Zobov, M. (LNF, Dafne Light)
The FCC-ee impedance model is being constantly updated closely following the vacuum chamber design and parameters evolution. In particular, at present, a thicker NEG coating of 150 nm (instead of previous 100 nm) has been suggested by the vacuum experts, and a more realistic impedance model of the bellows has been investigated. Beam-gas Background Characterization in the FCC-ee IR / Boscolo, Manuela (LNF, Dafne Light) ; Blanco-García, Oscar (LNF, Dafne Light) ; Burkhardt, Helmut (CERN) ; Collamati, Francesco (INFN, Rome) ; Kersevan, Roberto (CERN) ; Lueckhof, Marian (CERN)
The MDISim toolkit is used to evaluate and characterizethe beam-gas induced background in the FCC-ee interactionregion. MDISim allows to construct in GEANT4 the actualbeam lattice structure with geometry and magnetic elementsin order to perform a full simulation enabling to study thelocation where the beam gas scattering occurs as well asthe loss point of scattered particles. Machine Induced Backgrounds in the FCC-ee MDI Region and Beamstrahlung Radiation / Ciarma, Andrea (CERN) ; Boscolo, Manuela (Frascati) ; Ganis, Gerardo (CERN) ; Perez, Emmanuelle (CERN)
The new design for the central chamber of the FCC-ee beam pipe has a reduced radius of R=10mm and length of L=18cm, allowing to have the inner layer of the Vertex Detector Barrel closer to the interaction point. The effect of the background induced occupancy due to Incoherent Pairs Creation (IPC), beam losses in the MDI area and Synchrotron Radiation are explored for the CLD detector, using the updated version of the Vertex Detector for the new central beam pipe.
