Multinucleon transfer processes in the $^{197}$Au+$^{130}$Te at E$_{lab}$ =1.07 GeV system were studied with the PRISMA magnetic spectrometer in coincidence with an ancillary particle detector. For neutron transfer channels we extracted total cross sections and compared them with calculations performed with the GRAZING code. [...]

We measured absolute cross sections for neutron transfer channels populated in the Rb94+Pb208 binary reaction. Cross sections have been extracted identifying directly the lead isotopes with the high efficiency MINIBALL γ-ray array coupled to a particle detector combined with a radioactive Rb94 beam delivered at Elab=6.2 MeV/nucleon by the HIE-ISOLDE facility. Monitored neutrino beams are facilities where beam diagnostics enable the counting and identification of charged leptons in the decay tunnel of a narrow band beam. These facilities can monitor neutrino production at the single particle level (flux precision %) and provide information about the neutrino energy at the 10% level. [...]

Population and y-decay studies of neutron-rich nuclei around 48Ca with deep inelastic collisions / Montanari, D (INFN, Milan) ; Leoni, S (INFN, Milan) ; Benzoni, G (INFN, Milan) ; Blasi, N (INFN, Milan) ; Bracco, A (INFN, Milan) ; Brambilla, S (INFN, Milan) ; Camera, F (INFN, Milan) ; Corsi, A (INFN, Milan) ; Crespi, F C (INFN, Milan) ; Million, B (INFN, Milan) et al.
The population and -decay of n-rich nuclei around 48Ca has been measured with the PRISMA-CLARA setup using deep-inelastic collisions (DIC) on 64Ni, at energies ~2.5 times above the Coulomb barrier. After a careful analysis of the response of the PRISMA magnetic spectrometer, a detailed investigation of the reaction properties is carried out. [...]

Some experimental limits on the annihilation cross sections $σ_{\textrm{ann}}$ of antiprotons on carbon, palladium, and platinum targets were determined at the previously unexplored kinetic energy region E≈125 keV. Information on $σ_{\textrm{ann}}$ at such low antiproton energies is important in understanding the dynamics of the annihilation process, and provides useful data for models that attempt to describe the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe by assuming the existence of islands of antimatter concentration..

The reduced transition probabilities for the $4^+_1 \to 2^+_1$ and $2^+_1 \to 0^+_1$ transitions in $^{92}$Mo and $^{94}$Ru and for the $4^+_1 \to 2^+_1$ and $6^+_1 \to 4^+_1$ transitions in $^{90}$Zr have been determined in this experiment making use of a multinucleon transfer reaction. These results have been interpreted on the basis of realistic shell-model calculations in the $f_{5/2}, p_{3/2}, p_{1/2},$ and $g_{9/2}$ proton valence space. [...]
