F/sub 2//sup p/ at low Q/sup 2/ and the total gamma p cross section at HERA / Levonian, S
New precise measurements of the neutral current cross section at HERA are presented in different Q/sup 2/ regimes. In the photoproduction limit the total gamma p cross section is found to be in agreement with the universal soft Pomeron prediction. [...]

Investigations on the transition from nonperturbative to perturbative QCD in inelastic $e^{+}$p scattering at HERA / Surrow, B (CERN)
Recent results on the measurement of the proton structure function F /sub 2/ from both HERA experiments H1 and ZEUS, allowed us to investigate the behavior of F/sub 2/ in the transition region from photoproduction to deep-inelastic scattering. The x and Q/sup 2/ dependence of F/sub 2/ in the transition region is quantified using a simple phenomenological fit. [...]

Exclusive $\pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{+}\pi^{-}$ and $\pi^{+}\pi^{0}\pi^{-} \pi^{0}$ production in two photon collisions at L3 / Fedin, O ; Nesterov, S ; Sultanov, G G ; Vorobev, I
Exclusive rho /sup 0/ rho /sup 0/ and rho /sup +/ rho /sup -/ production in two-photon collisions for quasi-real photons and rho /sup 0/ rho /sup 0/ production, involving highly virtual photons, was measured by the L3 experiment at LEP. The spin-parity-helicity analysis of rho /sup 0/ rho /sup 0/ and rho /sup +/ rho /sup -/ systems at Q/sup 2/ approximately= 0 was performed. [...]

Study of deep inelastic muon scattering on carbon, to the highest energies and Q/sup 2/ available at the CERN-SPS / Sacquin, Yu
Reports on preliminary determination of the structure function F/sub 2 / at different energies (120, 200, 240 GeV) with the NA4 apparatus. The results show no significant scaling violations in the Q/sup 2/ range 50-200 GeV/sup 2/. [...]

The proton structure function F/sub 2/ at low Q/sup 2/ and low x / Pellegrino, A
The recent measurements of the proton structure function F/sub 2/ made by the H1 and ZEUS collaborations span six orders of magnitude both in the virtuality of the photon, Q/sup 2/, and in the Bjorken scaling variable, x. The data exhibit a clear transition from the (approximate) scaling behavior of F2 to a much stronger Q/sup 2/-dependence at low Q/sup 2/. [...]

Measurement of the low-x behaviour of the photon structure function $F_{2}^{\gamma}$ / Clay, E W (CERN) /OPAL Collaboration
The photon structure function F/sub 2//sup gamma /(x, Q/sup 2/) has been measured using data taken by the OPAL detector at e/sup +/e/sup -/ centre-of-mass energies of 91 GeV and 189 GeV, in Q/sup 2/ ranges of 1.5-6.0 GeV/sup 2/ (LEP1), and 7.0-30 GeV/sup 2/ (LEP2), probing the lowest possible values of x. The latest Monte Carlo programs and new methods, such as multi-variable unfolding, have been used to reduce model dependent systematic errors in the measurement. [...]

Measurement of the low-x behaviour of the photon structure function / Kartvelishvili, V G (Manchester Univ)
The photon structure function F/sub 2//sup gamma /(x, Q/sup 2/) has been measured using data taken by the OPAL detector at e/sup +/e/sup -/ centre-of-mass energies of 91 GeV, 183 GeV and 189 GeV, in Q/sup 2 / ranges of 1.5-30.0 GeV/sup 2/ (LEP1), and 7.0-30.0 GeV/sup 2/ (LEP2), probing lower values of x than ever before. Since previous OPAL analyses, new Monte Carlo models and new methods, such as multi- variable unfolding, have been introduced, reducing significantly the model dependent systematic errors in the measurement. Exclusive two $\rho^{0}$-mesons production in $\gamma\gamma^{*}$ collision / Anikin, I V ; Pire, B ; Teryaev, O V
We give a theoretical description of the L3 Collaboration data on the cross-section of the exclusive two rho -mesons production in gamma gamma * collision with large photon virtuality. These data prove the scaling behaviour of the leading twist generalized distribution amplitude of vector mesons. [...]

New measurements of inclusive diffraction at HERA / Newman, P R
Two new diffractive measurements from HERA are described. ZEUS data on the diffractive structure function F/sub 2//sup D/ at low Q/sup 2/ constrain the transition in diffraction from the perturbative high Q /sup 2/ region to the photoproduction limit. [...]

We report on measurements of the transverse spin structure functions for the proton and neutron (deuteron) using deep inelastic electron scattering on transversely polarized solid targets. Data cover the range 1 GeV/sup 2/ < Q/sup 2/ < 20 GeV/sup 2/ and 0.02 < x < 0.9. [...]
