The experimental setup of BDF/SHiP proposed for ECN3 / Bick, Daniel (speaker) (Institut fur Experimentalphysik, Universität Hamburg)
The BDF/SHiP experiment has been proposed as a general purpose intensity-frontier experiment for the search of feebly interacting GeV-scale particles and to perform neutrino physics measurements at the CERN SPS. After the Technical Proposal in 2015 and a subsequent comprehensive design study, it has recently been optimized to operate in the existing SPS ECN3 underground facility, taking full advantage of the available 4x10^19 protons per year at 400 GeV.The experimental setup consists of two complementary detectors downstream an active muon shield. 2nd Series on Data Protection - Exploring Scholarly Communication Using The Decentralized Web / Hochstenbach, Patrick (speaker)
AbstractIn this lecture we present a new approach to assemble the scholarly record of researchers using a decentralized architecture for generating, propagating and notification of artifact lifecycle information in scholarly networks. Scholarly artifacts go through many stages from the creation of artifacts, through the registration of these artifacts in repositories, requesting certification at a publisher websites where they will be peer-reviewed and eventually published, to the archivation in a (web) archive [...]

3rd Series on Data Protection - The Past, Present and Future of Online Tracking / Veale, Michael (speaker) (University College London's Faculty of Laws)
Abstract:  Most users of the Internet today cannot remember an online experience without significant amounts of tracking. In this lecture, I will outline both where we have come from --- how even when the law has arguably kept up, enforcement has been limited and confused --- as well as where we are going [...]

High Intensity Kaon Experiments proposed for the ECN3 / Romano, Angela (speaker) (University of Birmingham (GB))
Rare kaon decay measurements at CERN are listed as an essential scientific activity in the 2020 Update of the European strategy for particle physics. The High Intensity Kaon Experiments (HIKE) represent a broad, long-term next-generation fixed-target experimental programme at CERN after LS3, based in the North Area ECN3 experimental hall, covering all the main aspects of rare kaon decays and searches accessible via kaon physics, from ultra-rare kaon decays to precision measurements and searches for new phenomena, with unprecedented world-leading sensitivity. [...]

3rd Series on Data Protection - It’s Platforms All the Way Down”: Understanding Data and Power in the Digital Economy / Veale, Michael (speaker) (University College London's Faculty of Laws)
Abstract: A feature of the modern digital economy is the “platform” business strategy. But what is this, and how does it work? In this lecture, I will explain different views on what a “platform” is, and why it is crucial to understand the way platforms function and accumulate power regardless of which aspect of the digital world is of interest [...]

The experimental setup of SHADOWS proposed for ECN3 / Regnery, Brendan (speaker) (KIT - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (DE))
The SHADOWS (Search for Hidden And Dark Objects With the SPS) experiment is one of three proposed detectors for installation in the ECN3 SPS beam dump in the North Area at CERN. SHADOWS would search for a large variety of feebly-interacting particles (FIPs) created in the dump of the 400 GeV SPS proton beam. [...]

High Power Targetry R&D program with the RaDIATE Collaboration and target perspectives in the framework of Snowmass / Pellemoine, Frederique (speaker) (Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory)
A high-power target system is a key beam element to complete future High Energy Physics (HEP) experiments. In the recent past, major accelerator facilities [1,3] have been limited in beam power not by their accelerators, but by the beam intercepting device survivability.  The target must then endure high power pulsed beam [4], leading to high cycle thermal stresses/pressures and thermal shocks. The increased beam power will also create significant challenges such as corrosion and radiation damage that can cause harmful effects on the material and degrade their mechanical and thermal properties during irradiation [...]
