Search for Quasiparticle Scattering in the Quark-Gluon Plasma with Jet Splittings in pp and Pb-Pb Collisions at sNN=5.02  TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE Collaboration reports measurements of the large relative transverse momentum (kT) component of jet substructure in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair sNN=5.02  TeV. Enhancement in the yield of such large-kT emissions in head-on Pb-Pb collisions is predicted to arise from partonic scattering with quasiparticles of the quark-gluon plasma. [...]

Sci.) et al.
The first results of K$^*$(892)$^{\pm}$ production at midrapidity ($|y| < 0.5$) in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV as a function of the event multiplicity are presented. The K$^*$(892)$^{\pm}$ has been reconstructed via its hadronic decay channel K$^*$(892)$^{\pm} \rightarrow~\pi^{\pm}~+~{\rm K}^0_{\rm S}$ using the ALICE detector at the LHC. [...]

The transverse momentum spectra and integrated yields of $\overline{\Sigma}^{\pm}$ have been measured in pp and p$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=5.02$ TeV with the ALICE experiment. Measurements are performed via the newly accessed decay channel $\overline{\Sigma}^{\pm} \rightarrow \overline{n} \pi^{\pm}$. [...]

Multiplicity dependence of $\mathbf{{\rm f}_{0}(980)}$ production in pp collisions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{s}}=$ 13 TeV / Abualrob, Ibrahim Jaser (Houston U.) ; Acharya, Shreyasi (INFN, Bari) ; Aglieri Rinella, Gianluca (CERN) ; Aglietta, Luca (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Agnello, Michelangelo (Turin Polytechnic) ; Agrawal, Neelima (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Ahammed, Zubayer (Calcutta, VECC) ; Ahmad, Shakeel (Aligarh Muslim U.) ; Ahuja, Ishaan (Kosice U.) ; Akbar, Zulkaida (Jakarta LIPI, Indonesian Inst. Sci.) et al.
The dependence of $\mathrm{f}_{0}$(980) production on the final-state charged-particle multiplicity is reported for proton--proton (pp) collisions at the centre-of-mass energy, $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV. The production of $\mathrm{f}_{0}$(980) is measured with the ALICE detector via the $\mathrm{f}_0 (980) \rightarrow \pi^{+}\pi^{-}$ decay channel in a midrapidity region of $|y|<$~0.5. [...]

The azimuthal-correlation distributions between electrons from the decays of heavy-flavor hadrons and associated charged particles in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}} = 5.02$ TeV are reported for the 0-10% and 30-50% centrality classes. This is the first measurement to provide access to the azimuthal-correlation observables in the heavy-flavor sector in Pb-Pb collisions. [...]

Ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions produce a state of hot and dense strongly interacting QCD matter called quark-gluon plasma (QGP). On an event-by-event basis, the volume of the QGP in ultracentral collisions is mostly constant, while its total entropy can vary significantly due to quantum fluctuations, leading to variations in the temperature of the system. This work reports femtoscopy correlations of p$-$p (p$-$p) and p$-$d (p$-$d) pairs measured in Pb$-$Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV by the ALICE Collaboration. A fit to the measured proton-proton correlation functions allows one to extract the dependence of the nucleon femtoscopic radius of the particle-emitting source as a function of the pair transverse mass ($m_{\rm T}$) and of the average charge particle multiplicity $\langle {\rm d}N_{\rm ch}/{\rm d}\eta \rangle^{1/3}$ for three centrality intervals (0$-$10%, 10$-$30%, 30$-$50%). This Letter presents measurements of long-range transverse-momentum correlations using a new observable, $v_0 ( p_{\rm T} )$, which serves as a probe of radial flow and medium properties in heavy-ion collisions. Results are reported for inclusive charged particles, pions, kaons, and protons across various centrality intervals in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV, recorded by the ALICE detector.
