Hyperon Polarization along the Beam Direction Relative to the Second and Third Harmonic Event Planes in Isobar Collisions at <math display="inline"><mrow><msqrt><mrow><msub><mrow><mi>s</mi></mrow><mrow><mi>N</mi><mi>N</mi></mrow></msub></mrow></msqrt><mo>=</mo><mn>200</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mi>GeV</mi></mrow></math> / STAR Collaboration
The polarization of $\Lambda$ and $\bar{\Lambda}$ hyperons along the beam direction has been measured relative to the second and third harmonic event planes in isobar Ru+Ru and Zr+Zr collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV. This is the first experimental evidence of the hyperon polarization by the triangular flow originating from the initial density fluctuations. [...]

Search for the chiral magnetic wave using anisotropic flow of identified particles at energies available at the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider / STAR Collaboration
The chiral magnetic wave (CMW) has been theorized to propagate in the deconfined nuclear medium formed in high-energy heavy-ion collisions, and to cause a difference in elliptic flow ($v_{2}$) between negatively and positively charged hadrons. Experimental data consistent with the CMW have been reported by the STAR Collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), based on the charge asymmetry dependence of the pion $v_{2}$ from Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 27 to 200 GeV. ALICE upgrades during the LHC Long Shutdown 2 / ALICE Collaboration
A Large Ion Collider Experiment (ALICE) has been conceived and constructed as a heavy-ion experiment at the LHC. During LHC Runs 1 and 2, it has produced a wide range of physics results using all collision systems available at the LHC. [...]

Tests of General Relativity with GWTC-3 / LIGO Scientific Collaboration
The ever-increasing number of detections of gravitational waves (GWs) from compact binaries by the Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo detectors allows us to perform ever-more sensitive tests of general relativity (GR) in the dynamical and strong-field regime of gravity. [...]

Search for Subsolar-Mass Binaries in the First Half of Advanced LIGO’s and Advanced Virgo’s Third Observing Run / LIGO Scientific Collaboration
We report on a search for compact binary coalescences where at least one binary component has a mass between 0.2 $M_\odot$ and 1.0 $M_\odot$ in Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo data collected between 1 April 2019 1500 UTC and 1 October 2019 1500 UTC. We extend previous analyses in two main ways: we include data from the Virgo detector and we allow for more unequal mass systems, with mass ratio $q \geq 0.1$. [...]

First joint observation by the underground gravitational-wave detector KAGRA with GEO 600 / KAGRA Collaboration
We report the results of the first joint observation of the KAGRA detector with GEO600. KAGRA is a cryogenic and underground gravitational-wave detector consisting of a laser interferometer with three-kilometer arms, and located in Kamioka, Gifu, Japan. [...]

Double J/ψ production in pion-nucleon scattering at COMPASS / COMPASS Collaboration
We present the study of the production of double $J/\psi$ mesons using COMPASS data collected with a 190 $\GeV/c$ $\pi^-$ beam scattering off NH$_{3}$, Al and W targets. Kinematic distributions of the collected double $J/\psi$ events are analysed, and the double $J/\psi$ production cross section is estimated for each of the COMPASS targets. [...]

Exotic meson $\pi_1(1600)$ with $J^{PC} = 1^{-+}$ and its decay into $\rho(770)\pi$ / COMPASS Collaboration
We study the spin-exotic $J^{PC} = 1^{-+}$ amplitude in single-diffractive dissociation of 190 GeV$/c$ pions into $\pi^-\pi^-\pi^+$ using a hydrogen target and confirm the $\pi_1(1600) \to \rho(770) \pi$ amplitude, which interferes with a nonresonant $1^{-+}$ amplitude. We demonstrate that conflicting conclusions from previous studies on these amplitudes can be attributed to different analysis models and different treatment of the dependence of the amplitudes on the squared four-momentum transfer and we thus reconcile their experimental findings. Inclusive $\text {J}/\psi $ production at midrapidity in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
We report on the inclusive J/ψ production cross section measured at the CERN Large Hadron Collider in proton–proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy s = 13 TeV. The J/ψ mesons are reconstructed in the e+e− decay channel and the measurements are performed at midrapidity (|y| < 0.9) in the transverse-momentum interval 0 < pT < 40 GeV/c, using a minimum-bias data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity Lint = 32.2 nb−1 and an Electromagnetic Calorimeter triggered data sample with Lint = 8.3 pb−1. Prompt and non-prompt J/ψ production cross sections at midrapidity in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{\mathrm{s}} $ = 5.02 and 13 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of J/$\psi$ is measured at midrapidity ($|y|<0.9$) in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 5.02 and 13 TeV, through the dielectron decay channel, using the ALICE detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The data sets used for the analyses correspond to integrated luminosities of \mbox{$\mathcal{L}_{\rm int}$ = 19.4$\pm$0.4~nb$^{-1}$} and \mbox{ $\mathcal{L}_{\rm int}$ = 32.3$\pm$1.6~nb$^{-1}$} at $\sqrt{s}$ = 5.02 and 13 TeV, respectively.
