Charge radii of thallium isotopes near the N=126 shell closure
/ IDS Collaboration
The changes in the mean-squared charge radius of Tlg209 (N=128) and Tlm207 (N=126) relative to Tl205 have been measured for the first time using the in-source laser resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique with the Laser Ion Source and Trap (LIST) at ISOLDE (CERN). The application of the LIST suppresses the dominant background from isobaric francium isotopes and allows access to thallium nuclides with A⩾207. [...]

We present the first measurement of the 47K(d,pγ)48K transfer reaction, performed in inverse kinematics using a reaccelerated beam of 47K. [...]

The excited states of unstable 20O were investigated via γ-ray spectroscopy following the 19O(d,p)20O reaction at 8 AMeV. By exploiting the Doppler Shift Attenuation Method, the lifetime of the 2+2 and 3+1 states were firmly established. [...]

Shape evolution in even-mass 98−104Zr isotopes via lifetime measurements using the γγ-coincidence technique
/ Pasqualato, G. (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Ansari, S. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Heines, J.S. (Oslo U.) ; Modamio, V. (Oslo U.) ; Görgen, A. (Oslo U.) ; Korten, W. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Ljungvall, J. (IJCLab, Orsay ; Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Clément, E. (GANIL) ; Dudouet, J. (IP2I, Lyon) ; Lemasson, A. (GANIL) et al.
The Zirconium (Z = 40) isotopic chain has attracted interest for more than four decades. The abrupt lowering of the energy of the first 2+ state and the increase in the transition strength B(E2; 2→10+1 going from 98Zr to 100Zr has been the first example of "quantum phase transition" in nuclear shapes, which has few equivalents in the nuclear chart. 133In: A Rosetta Stone for decays of r-process nuclei

The β decays from both the ground state and a long-lived isomer of 133In were studied at the ISOLDE Decay Station (IDS). With a hybrid detection system sensitive to β, γ, and neutron spectroscopy, the comparative partial half-lives (logft) have been measured for all their dominant β-decay channels for the first time, including a low-energy Gamow-Teller transition and several First-Forbidden (FF) transitions. The decay properties of 133In were studied in detail at the ISOLDE Decay Station (IDS). The implementation of the Resonance Ionization Laser Ion Source (RILIS) allowed separate measurements of its 9/2+ ground state (133gIn) and 1/2− isomer (133mIn). [...]

The first low-energy Coulomb-excitation measurement of the radioactive, semi-magic, two proton-hole nucleus 206Hg, was performed at CERN's recently-commissioned HIE-ISOLDE facility. Two γ rays depopulating low-lying states in 206Hg were observed. [...]
