UV Completion of Neutral Triple Gauge Couplings / Ellis, John (Shanghai Jiaotong U. ; King's Coll. London ; CERN) ; He, Hong-Jian (Shanghai Jiaotong U. ; Shanghai Jiao Tong U. ; Tsinghua U., Beijing ; Peking U., CHEP) ; Xiao, Rui-Qing (Shanghai Jiaotong U. ; King's Coll. London ; Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Zeng, Shi-Ping (Shanghai Jiaotong U. ; Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Zheng, Jiaming (Shanghai Jiaotong U. ; Shanghai Jiao Tong U.)
Neutral triple gauge couplings (nTGCs) are manifestation of new physics beyond the Standard Model (SM), as they are absent in the SM and are first generated by dimension-8 operators in the SM Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). We study the UV completion of nTGCs in a renormalizable model with vector-like heavy fermions. [...]

Electroweak Loop Contributions to the Direct Detection of Wino Dark Matter / Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; CERN) ; Nagata, Natsumi (Tokyo U.) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U.) ; Zheng, Jiaming (Shanghai Jiaotong U., INPAC)
Electroweak loop corrections to the matrix elements for the spin-independent scattering of cold dark matter particles on nuclei are generally small, typically below the uncertainty in the local density of cold dark matter. However, as shown in this paper, there are instances in which the electroweak loop corrections are relatively large, and change significantly the spin-independent dark matter scattering rate. [...]

Stop Coannihilation in the CMSSM and SubGUT Models / Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; NICPB, Tallinn ; CERN) ; Evans, Jason L. (Korea Inst. Advanced Study, Seoul) ; Luo, Feng (Tokyo U., IPMU) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.) ; Zheng, Jiaming (Tokyo U.)
Stop coannihilation may bring the relic density of heavy supersymmetric dark matter particles into the range allowed by cosmology. The efficiency of this process is enhanced by stop-antistop annihilations into the longitudinal (Goldstone) modes of the $W$ and $Z$ bosons, as well as by Sommerfeld enhancement of stop annihilations and the effects of bound states. Collider Interplay for Supersymmetry, Higgs and Dark Matter / Buchmueller, O. (Imperial Coll., London) ; Citron, M. (Imperial Coll., London) ; Ellis, J. (CERN ; King's Coll. London) ; Guha, S. We discuss the potential impacts on the CMSSM of future LHC runs and possible electron-positron and higher-energy proton-proton colliders, considering searches for supersymmetry via MET events, precision electroweak physics, Higgs measurements and dark matter searches. We validate and present estimates of the physics reach for exclusion or discovery of supersymmetry via MET searches at the LHC, which should cover the low-mass regions of the CMSSM parameter space favoured in a recent global analysis. The Extent of the Stop Coannihilation Strip / Ellis, John (CERN ; King's Coll. London) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst. ; Minnesota U.) ; Zheng, Jiaming (Minnesota U.)
Many supersymmetric models such as the CMSSM feature a strip in parameter space where the lightest neutralino \chi is identified as the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP), the lighter stop squark \tilde t_1 is the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP), and the relic \chi cold dark matter density is brought into the range allowed by astrophysics and cosmology by coannihilation with the lighter stop squark \tilde t_1 NLSP. We calculate the stop coannihilation strip in the CMSSM, incorporating Sommerfeld enhancement effects, and explore the relevant phenomenological constraints and phenomenological signatures. [...]
