000878209 520__ $$aDescribes an event, discovered in experiments on the creation of charmed particles by tagged photons from the supersynchrotron at CERN. The event was simultaneously registered in nuclear photoemulsion as well as in the magnetic spectrometer 'Omega-prim'. This is interpreted as the first case of photocreation of a pair of charmed neutral mesons D/sup 0/D/sup 0/. For D/sup 0/ to K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ pi /sup -/ pi /sup +/, a decay time of tau (D/sup 0/)=(0.14+or-0.01)*10/sup -13/ s was obtained, for D/sup 0/ to K/sup 0/ pi /sup -/e/sup +/ nu , two solutions were obtained, tau /sub 1/(D/sup 0/)=(3.4+or-0.3)*10/sup -13 / s and tau /sub 2/(D/sup 0/)=(7.5+or-0.3)*10/sup -13/ s.
