000875556 520__ $$aThe authors review the possible ways of determining the Regge behaviour of pi exchange from the data and conclude that the most reliable way is to study rho /sup H//sub 00/d sigma /dt for pi /sup - /p to rho degrees n. Using such data evidence is found for a pion trajectory of conventional Regge slope. The authors also isolate the pion trajectory using data for gamma p to omega p. (22 refs).
