Abstract The description of process of manufacturing detectors based on the thin-wall aluminium tubes is resulted. The created semi-automatic line for drift tubes assembly together with other subsystems completely provides required parameters of the made detectors. The line has an opportunity to make the tubes of different length - from 500 up to 5000 microns. The average time for manufacturing one detector does not exceed four minutes. Signal wire tension is supervised during manufacture and also is checked additionally after tube assembling. It is provided with 1 % accuracy. The produced drift tubes are used further for gluing of MDT chambers of muon system of ATLAS experiment.
