Abstract | In this document, we describe a new approach to obtain the energy scale and resolution correction based on the minimization of an analytical likelihood. The energyresolution effect is incorporated with an analytical approach. This allows to carryout the minimization using the Tensorflow library and in particular its automatic differentiation capabilities. We review the description of the analytical likelihood, thevalidation of the tool, the potential biases and solutions when the scale and resolution are measured versus the energy itself. |
