Abstract	This paper is an overview of recent results on top-quark production measurements obtained by the ATLAS collaboration from the analysis of pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 and 8 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider. Total and differential top-quark pair ($t\bar{t}$) cross section and total single top cross section measurements are presented.
