Nonresonant central exclusive production of charged-hadron pairs in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV / CMS and TOTEM Collaboration
The central exclusive production of charged-hadron pairs in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV is examined, based on data collected in a special high-$ \beta^* $ run of the LHC. The nonresonant continuum processes are studied with the invariant mass of the centrally produced two-pion system in the resonance-free region, $ m_{\pi^{+}\pi^{-}} < $ 0.7 GeV or $ m_{\pi^{+}\pi^{-}} > $ 1.8 GeV. Search for central exclusive production of top quark pairs in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} $ = 13 TeV with tagged protons / CMS Collaboration
A search for the central exclusive production of top quark-antiquark pairs ($ \mathrm{t} \bar{\mathrm{t}} $) is performed for the first time using proton-tagged events in proton-proton collisions at the LHC at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 29.4 fb$ ^{-1} $. [...]

TOTEM, recent experimental review / Cafagna, Francesco S (INFN, Bari) /TOTEM Collaboration
The TOTEM (TOTal cross section, Elastic scattering and diffraction dissociation Measurement at the LHC) experiment, located at the interaction point 5 of the LHC, has measured the total, elastic and inelastic proton-proton crosssections, using a luminosity independent method, based on the optical theorem, in a center-of-mass energy range from 2.76 to 13 TeV. The elastic scattering was investigated in a wide range of the squared four-momentum transfer |t| allowing study of the Coulomb-nuclear interference region down to |t| ∼ 8 × 10−4 GeV2. [...]

Hard color-singlet exchange in dijet events in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV / Baldenegro Barrera, Cristian (Kansas U.) /CMS Collaboration ; TOTEM Collaboration
We present a measurement of events with two jets separated by a pseudorapidity gap (jet-gap-jet). The signature is expected from hard color-singlet exchange. [...]

A search for new physics in central exclusive production using the missing mass technique with the CMS detector and the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometerA search for new physics in central exclusive production using the missing mass technique with the CMS detector and the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometer / CMS Collaboration
A generic search is presented for the associated production of a Z boson or a photon with an additional unspecified massive particle X, $ \mathrm{p}\mathrm{p}\to \mathrm{p}\mathrm{p} +\mathrm{Z}/\gamma+\mathrm{X} $, in proton-tagged events from proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV, recorded in 2017 with the CMS detector and the CMS-TOTEM precision proton spectrometer. The missing mass spectrum is analysed in the 600-1600 GeV range and a fit is performed to search for possible deviations from the background expectation. [...]

HOM Couplers and RF Antennas for HL-LHC Crab Cavities: Developments for Manufacturing / Barrière, Simon (CERN) ; Atieh, Said (CERN) ; Bulat, Bartosz (CERN) ; Calaga, Rama (CERN) ; Calvo, Sebastien (CERN) ; Capatina, Ofelia (CERN) ; Demazière, Thomas (CERN) ; Favre, Gilles (CERN) ; Gallifa Terricabras, Adrià (CERN) ; Garlasché, Marco (CERN) et al.
Superconducting RF crab cavities are being manufactured as part of the High-Luminosity LHC project at CERN. Amongst its related ancillaries, radiofrequency HOM (High Order Modes) couplers and field antennas are essential for reaching nominal performance during operation with high energy beams, as they monitor and control the electromagnetic fields in the cavities. Search for high-mass exclusive $ \gamma\gamma \to \mathrm{W}\mathrm{W} $ and $ \gamma\gamma \to \mathrm{Z}\mathrm{Z} $ production in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A search is performed for exclusive high-mass $ \gamma\gamma \to \mathrm{W}\mathrm{W} $ and $ \gamma\gamma \to \mathrm{Z}\mathrm{Z} $ production in proton-proton collisions using intact forward protons reconstructed in near-beam detectors, with both weak bosons decaying into boosted and merged jets. The analysis is based on a sample of proton-proton collisions collected by the CMS and TOTEM experiments at $ \sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 100 fb$ ^{-1} $. [...]

The Precision Proton Spectrometer (PPS) of the CMS and TOTEM experiments collected 107.7 fb$ ^{-1} $ in proton-proton (pp) collisions at the LHC at 13 TeV (Run 2). This paper describes the key features of the PPS alignment and optics calibrations, the proton reconstruction procedure, as well as the detector efficiency and the performance of the PPS simulation.
