I play this game on my Kindle Fire HD and what FUN it is!! At first I got the free game and enjoyed it so much that for 99cents I upgraded to the full version. It was worth it! The game has different 'locations' that you bowl in. In the full version the locations consist of a mushroom, space, slope, dome, camping, garden and beach. All the graphics in the locations are bright, cheerful, colorful and mostly realistic. You can change the color of the bowling ball and also the pins. That's fun as you can get bored sliding the same colored ball down the alley time after time. In the settings of this game you have the option to be able to tilt your Kindle left or right so you can add spin to your ball. That's kind of cool. If this game has a downside I would say it's that you are unable to play against others. The game does have an option to play against your Kindle but this is how it works by going into the settings of the game: you enter your player name, you check CPU (which is the Kindle), then you go back to the game. When you start the game, your player name will appear in a little box in the middle of the screen and you tap it to take your turn. When your turn is over the same little box will appear on the screen with the name CPU on it and you have to tap it and the kindle will automatically take it's turn. I don't care for playing against the Kindle so I just play by myself. BUT........I still find it to be lots of fun! My suggestion is to try the free version and if your satisfied with that, upgrade to the full version. You won't be sorry!!
1.0Bad physics. Would return if I could. Thumbs down - Uninstalled (wish I did not waste coins)

I installed "Bowling paradise" on my Kindle HDX (8.9") and was very disappointed, it's not as good with it's physics as "doodle bowling" or even real bowling ( Doodle Bowling only on Google Play Store sadly).
The game takes a too long to give you another ball to shoot (granted only a second, or less, but that's a second wasted every other shot, and why make me wait at all?). It feels like the ball is "almost" in slow motion (certainly after it hits the pins). It's NOT like the hardware in my new HDX cannot handle the program!
"Doodle Bowling" feels much more 'real' (physics wise). You feel like you are throwing a real ball (speed and response wise). I looked and there's no way to adjust the slow artificial ball movement (almost like slow motion after the shot). I now regret buying this app and wish I had tried the "Free" version first, I would NOT have purchased this one, it's no Doodle bowling!
I don't think there's a way to 'return' an app (like you can a kindle book). If there was, I would return Bowling Paradise and get my coins back. I use a game like this it to play a QUICK string while waiting, and this slow-mo thing drags it out like it's in slow motion (specially after the hit) then you are back ready to throw again and have to wait for the darn ball. I am going to give it a 1 star rating. I think there's room for physics improvement by the app maker and if the developers "fix that" I will raise my rating substantially (likely 5 star)...
As is, I would NOT recommend this app. "Doodle Bowling" (GameResort) on my Asus tablet (not on the Amazon appstore unfortunately) is far better physics wise! Grapics are nice on Paradise bowling (although I would recommend a real bowling alley theme and did not like the two they offered, garden and beach). The yellow 'tracer shot' path on the ball is neat, but when I throw it I expect it to travel at the speed a real ball would and the pins to react like they would in real life. This "Matrix style" semi-slow motion is annoying and a waste of my time. I like how it shows what pins are on what places (number grid) and the scoring is good, so if the developer fixes the physics thing I would give this 4 or 5 stars. I also recommend a 'real' looking bowling alley to choose from. Fingers crossed!
