    I originally purchased the waterproof case for a cruise that I went on in 2021 and it's great even now in 2024. Attached is a picture of my phone in the case. I have an iPhone12 Pro Max and there is a relatively small case on my phone as well. The case does just what it says. I was able to submerge it into the water without getting any water in the case.A benefit is that it has a lanyard so i didn't have to hold it. This will come in handy too having two daughters I need to have free hands ready to help them.The touch screen works as if there is no case on it. Full screen sensitivity is there. The price is amazing too for a 2 pack and a product that actually works.

    Thanks to this ingenious invention, my recent trip to a resort with a whole pool complex—multiple pools, waterfalls, a lazy river connecting everything—I was able to both relax and enjoy my trip on a whole new level. Rather than being concerned about leaving my phone and valuables on a chaise lounge where anyone could have taken them, they stayed on my person the entire time, even when I was submerged in water! Even better, not only could I use the camera function (and other apps) I was able to take two phone calls and record a video because the sound was pristine! Moreover, it never fogged up once so every picture and video was crystal clear.

    I’ll be honest, even with all of the five star reviews and the “Amazon’s Choice” distinction, I felt a bit tentative about letting my phone, credit cards, etc., intentionally go into the water, even if they were in this protective pouch. All of my fears were allayed however when the whole thing got dunked and everything inside stayed bone dry. After that happened, I actually became quite cavalier and took a video of myself getting drenched under one of the larger waterfalls to make my Godchildren laugh. Thanks to the waterproof seal, even when the case was getting pummeled with water from the deluge, not a drop got through!

    I would highly recommend this product to anyone traveling anywhere they might get wet and yet who want to keep their electronics and valuables with them. Though a bit tight, it fit my iPhone 13 Pro Max along with my room key, IDs and some cash. It isn’t just a waterproof pouch, it’s peace of mind. 😊😃

    Purchased the 4-pack on 11-08-2023 for $13.59. ($16.99 - $3.40/Lightning Deal)

    This is the smaller of this type of watertight phone pouch. There is a larger one that is wider with room for additional small items---keys, car remote, etc.---but this pouch is limited to just a phone and some flat items like credit cards and paper money.

    I have a phone with a diagonal screen size of 6.8 inches. It wears a robust, 'military grade' case (Poetic Revolution Series). The dimensions with the case are 7 1/8” L x 3 1/2" W x 5/8" D, so quite a bit bulkier than the naked phone. I need to work it in the pouch because the fit is tight. It barely fits the pouch, BARELY.

    This pouch DOES NOT STRETCH, lengthwise or widthwise or thickness-wise. Consider the above dimensions of my phone to be the absolute maximum without overly stressing the material and seams.

    If your phone is naked or has a thin case, it should be fine.

    I don't use this, or think of it, as a SECURE, WATERPROOF means of carrying my phone. Basically, it's a vinyl bag that's glued onto a clasp connected to a neck strap. Vinyl tears, plastic/polymer cracks, and stuff happens.

    I'll use this if it's 'close to the vest' and only if it's always in sight. Don't be the unfortunate soul (fool?) who reaches for the phone and passport/$$$/CC to find that the pouch is gone, gone, gone.

    As to the watertightness, 'trust, but verify.' If your phone is waterproof with an IP68 rating, I would use this as an extra layer of protection.

    If your phone is NOT waterproof, I would use this very carefully and check frequently for water ingress. I will NOT take this snorkeling. Definitely NO scuba diving.

    BTW, many people attribute 'trust, but verify' to Ronald Reagan, but that's wrong. It actually is an old Russian proverb. Reagan learned of it prior to a meeting with the former Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev. He liked it, then started using it and popularized it in the U.S.A.

    And the phone's touchscreen does work through the pouch...at least on land. Obviously, there is some loss to the sensitivity.

    Is this pouch useful? Yes, it is a convenient item to have that protects your phone from casual water, and, by using the neck strap, it frees both hands to hold more important things in life...like the foot-long meatball sandwich with bell peppers, olives, and extra pepperoncini.

    As far as your phone, be aware that just because it has an IP68 rating, that doesn't mean you can go snorkeling or scuba diving with it. The testing to receive that rating requires the phone to be submerged (more like immersed) in water at a minimum depth of one meter for 30 minutes with NO failure. Unless the manufacturer specifies that the phone was certified at a greater depth, assume that it was only at one meter.

    Furthermore, the tests are conducted under CONTROLLED conditions. What does that mean? The phone is immersed in STILL WATER with ZERO current movements and/or pressure changes. Hardly real life!

    What happens when you do a belly flop into the pool? Your belly gets slapped from the impact with water. That's a major pressure change. So what happens when you jump into the pool with phone in-hand or in your pocket?

    What happens when you dive to a depth of 10 meters or more? Higher pressure exerted on your phone's waterproof seals. Higher pressure that your phone seals weren't tested for. And seals degrade over time, too.

    Additionally, the tests were conducted in fresh water, not salt water. Salt water is much more caustic on metal. Doesn't affect me, you may retort, because my phone is glass and titanium. Did you forget about the USB-C/Lightning port? Stylus? Mic jack?

    Bottom line, your waterproof phone is waterproof from accidental drops in the spa. It's waterproof from falling out of your pocket into the toilet bowl. And it's waterproof for making calls in torrential rain. It ain't waterproof from water sports!

    As for this pouch, it has its use, but for something that is truly WATERPROOF, I would only trust a HARD CASE from a reputable brand.

    Took this on a Labor Day kayaking trip. Had it tucked into a pocket of my soft cooler and when this I hit a bad spot and flipped my kayak, it was gone. I flipped into a curve of trees and after searching down the river, I assumed it got trapped in the branches under water and drowned. This case was so inexpensive, that I just assumed it was more water resistant than actually waterproof. I chalked it up to a really expensive lesson learned and bought a new phone when we got home from our trip.
    Imagine my suprise when 4 days later, on my birthday, my husband gets a call from a fisherman who fished it out of the water right where I flipped! The inside of the case was perfectly dry and after he charged my phone, he was able to get my husband's number from the emergency contacts , and reached out to us! We took a long drive back and picked it up this weekend, and it works just fine!
    Really grateful to the good Samaritan who went through all the trouble to get it back to me, and for the quality of this case. I've told all my friends they won't regret buying it and you won't either!
