Solid performance by Charles Bronson in this period fight picture. The only bit that I caught was the story takes place in 1933, and Prohibition didn't end until Dec 5, 1933, and in the film, everyone was drinking alcohol. Naturally, Jill Ireland, Bronson's wife was in the film, too, but no happy ending there. I had seen the film with my mother and sister when I was a teen, and I remembered it as being good, and the film still holds up. Enjoyed.

How many punches does it take to draw blood.?

I almost liked this movie but it was distracting when the villain took 50 vicious bare-fist punches to the face before a little drop of blood finally appeared.
